This month’s performance review includes Kenny Yun in “Lettucetown Lies.”  He’s Gay.  He’s Asian.  He’s coming of age in Lettucetown. If that’s not bad enough, he’s got a crush on a hick.  Adolescence! It’s fun, it’s lies. In Lettucetown; David Allen Moss; Bruce Pachtman in “Solo Show #2.”  Yesterday Bruce had a bad day.  Actually he’s had 700 bad days… in a row.  But today everything changed for the better.  For the really, really better; and Mary Van Note in “What I Hid During Nap Time.”  Mary Van Note is known as a stand-up comedienne of the weird variety.  Come witness her first foray into solo performance. I have told the producer, whose name is nowhere on this website (that I could find; hey, cute producer! email me!) as well as Kenny Yun and David Allen Moss after the show, as well as Kenny and Bruce Pachtman by interwebinization comm, that this show was the greatest ever! (Oops, got email Mary Van Note who was also brilliant as usual!)

First time to CounterPulse, first time to Words First: I was completely absorbed by the artists’ intensity, passion, craft! Laughed, cried, inspired. Will definitely be back!
