CounterPULSE Summer 2012 Artists in Residence

CounterPULSE hosts a public Work-in-Progress showing for our Summer 2012 Artists in Residence. Both artists will share their unfinished projects with attendees, peers, and CounterPULSE staff, using Liz Lerman’s Critical Response process to get feedback on their work. Seth Eisen will be showing portions of his new Queer history performance project Homo File, chronicling the life of Sam Steward, (1909-1993). Xandra Ibarra will be showing parts of her new work Fuck My Life (FML) mapping the fatal journey of La Chica Boom, a queer Chicana performer exiled from the burlesque community she once desired.
