The sun rises over the mountains and creeps up to the mouth of our cave, splaying amber light across our slumbering forms. Our nests of animal skins, our rubber tubs, our plasteel tools and our dusty acorns are rendered alchemy-like to gold. Here, in this humble space, we observe with reverent humor themes of leisure, free time, idleness, games and play. Our spirited meditation directs viewers to the subliminal beauty in their surroundings, in others and in themselves.
How We Spend Our Days is a theatrical experiment conceived by the artist ensemble Klanghaus. While its true form is unknown to us and our methods are evolving we assure you it will be a weird, fun and eclectic experience.

Praise be to the elders and to those that came before. We salute you, the unborn starchildren.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Klanghaus has been presenting work in the Bay Area since 2006. In that time we have produced dozens of unique events, a smattering of original plays and several installations, to serve as beacons for a multifarious artistic body. We see ourselves as torch bearers in the ongoing experiment that is the San Francisco Bay Area.
