Activity Descriptions
Vocal Exercises with Kat Trataris
Make some noises and tune your voice! Have fun engaging and stretching your vocal chords with Kat in a 30 minute morning session of warm ups, tongue twisters, and a little do-rae-me. No previous experience necessary!
What is Sound? with Kevin Lo
What is sound? Join Kevin in a 30 minute interactive seminar as we delve into the mysteries of sound, what it is, and how it affects our daily lives.
Generating Movement with Rick Darnell
Based on the composition teachings of Robert Ellis Dunn, we will use the shape, flow and idiosyncrasies of our signatures, as a score for generating movement that we’ll share and arrange into a movement phrase. No previous dance experience or special skills are necessary. All body types welcome!
How to Clone Plants with Zerena Diaz
With scissors and cinnamon, Zerena Diaz will teach you how to forage and clone plants you may already have to grow your friends and family. She will discuss the importance of connecting to our plant siblings and relationship building with our natural world.
Pandemic Poetics with Justin Ebrahemi
Read a poem and I’ll dance. Dance and I’ll read a poem. Show me your somatics and I’ll show you my words. Show me your words and we’ll all move together. Choreograph your feels, feel the screen. Zoom in, out, and within our pandemic poetics.
High Intensity Interval Resting with Hannah Ayasse
Participate in an intensely restful workout! Use the structures of time and repetition to rest hard! Come with your body and a surface to lie upon for guided interval-style rest. No experience necessary, all bodies welcome.
