Miriam Wolodarski’s Of Limb and Language is a game show, a communicational tragicomedy, a brutal love affair between semantics and somatics… Our hearts are at the tips of our tongues.
Inspired by both the scientific and metaphorical implications of twinship, richien’s Twindependent is a dance theater piece incorporating live music and video projection.
*Come for the workshop, stay for the show. Inspired by their residency project, richien will lead participants in improvisations that explore different states of connection — from physical to psychic — through movement and song. All interested movers are invited to come alone or with a partner.
**Taking the place of the traditional talk-back, dance-back will be a short, lightly facilitated improvisational practice that invites the audience to reflect and share thoughts through dance, writing and speech. No experience of any kind required.
