How can you abstract a movement into words? Or a poem into somatic motion?
Embodied Poetics welcomes you to share your body-based works to inspire poetic musings, and share your poetry to spark improvisational movement.
This intimate workshop will investigate the nexus of body-based and poetic expression with multimedia artists Ainsley Elizabeth Tharp and Justin Ebrahemi.
Together we’ll play with verbal cadence and physical expression, the ways in which vocal tonality shape and morph movement into new hybrid creations.
Come bounce, move, rap, dance, sing, mumble, and shimmy in this low-key workshop catered to all experience levels.
