COUNTERPULSE VOLUNTEER/WORK EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Be a Volunteer Usher!

Contact Front of House Coordinator Julie Phelps to sign up!
Email: julie@counterpulse.org
Phone: 415.626.2060

We would like to express our appreciation to everyone who has already contributed so much time, labor, and love to the space.

Volunteer Ushers at CounterPULSE are an invaluable ingredient in grassroots, socially relevant, community-based arts and culture in San Francisco. Our volunteers help make CounterPULSE's mission of providing low-cost resources to artists and a no-one-turned-away-for-lack-or-funds policy achievable. Not to mention our ushers get to see tons of free performances!

Volunteer General Responsibilities:

  1. Show up to CounterPULSE an hour and a half before show time
  2. Lend a hand at the box office, the concession stand or ticket taking/program distribution
  3. Stay 10-15 minutes after the show end to help with basic clean-up

Note: There is not dress code or age requirements for volunteer ushers at CounterPULSE

Please email Julie at julie@counterpulse.org or if you'd rather speak to a live person call 415-626-2060.

Thank you for your interest. We look forward to having you become part of our vibrant family and keeping CounterPULSE alive and thriving.
