About May Day
Now in its 7th season, May Day both showcases a diverse array of local artists and raises funds for a non-profit situated on the edge of experimentation and innovation. No where else will you find an array of today’s cutting-edge choreographers and performers who represent all walks of the Bay Area performance scene, from contemporary dance to queer performance, drag and cabaret.
This year’s May Day events will take place Thursday – Saturday, May 3-5, 2012; our all-star lineup includes W. Kamau Bell, ODC Dance, Zaccho Dance Theatre, Marga Gomez, Joe Goode Performance Group, Monique Jenkinson, Campo Santo, Scott Wells & Dancers, Sara Shelton Man, Lizz Roman & Dancers, Flyaway Productions, Dandelion Dancetheater , KUNST-STOFF, Maryam Farnaz Rostami and Honey Mahogany.
